Your own home-grown veggies

Never tried to grow your own fruit and veg because ‘we live in the city so it’s not going to work’? Head to the Museum of London on 26^th August for a DIY workshop on how to grow your own veg in even the tiniest of spaces such as window sills and balconies. Book your ticket here.

Burgers galore on National Burger Day

24^th August is the annual celebration of one of the world’s most popular dishes: burgers. Not that we don’t celebrate them every other day of the year by stuffing our faces with classic cheeseburgers, veggie halloumi burgers and the wackier varieties – but make sure you come down and join us on the day itself – you wouldn’t want to miss out!

Espresso Martinis for £5

If you’re not sold already there must be something wrong with you 😉 For 3 days only, between 10^th and 12^th August London’s best bars will be taking part in the Mr Black Espresso Martini Fest, and you’ll be pleased to know that The Drift, The Refinery Bankside and Drake & Morgan at King’s Cross will all be participating.

All you have to do is buy your Festival ticket for £10 download the DrinkUp app so you can show the bars your pass and you can have as many Espresso Martinis as you can drink for £5 a pop. See you on the 10^th!
