New Year's Eve In Manchester

As one of the biggest party destinations, Manchester thrives on New Year’s Eve, but it’s not just thumping beats that the city has to offer to bring in 2017. From comedy specials to operatic concerts, there’s a serious variety of options so have a read and take your pick.

NYE with The Refinery

With an epic set menu on offer just for New Year’s Eve it’s we could tempt you to just join us for a four course feast and be done with it. But we wouldn’t want you to miss out on our cocktails and of course Champagne in hand to welcome in 2017 with all your favourite people. Join us for scallops and chorizo followed by rib of beef before you head out on the town – or just stay with us all night, we would 😉

New Year Opening Times

Saturday 31st: 10am -1am

Sunday 1st: closed

Bowling around the Christmas Tree

Spice up the usual Champagne and dancing by throwing some bowling in there! No one does bowling better than All Star Lanes and they’re nailing it this NYE. Tickets are £20 and include a welcome drink, bowling from 9pm and free fizz at midnight. There’ll be sliders and canapes plus a late night snack menu available once the clock strikes midnight. Dance the rest of the time away to retro music.

A Night at the Oscars

For a glamorous event that’s a little more unusual than most NYE’s parties head to The Bridgewater Hall. Sit back, relax and listen to the Manchester Camerata, Louise Dearman and Oliver Tompsett play a mind-blowing concert featuring music from blockbuster films including James Bond, Star Wars and Titanic. The concert starts at 8pm but arrive early for a glass of fizz and some informal entertainment from 6.30pm. If you really want to go all out guests can share savoury platters or enjoy the 5 course table d’hote menu for £65pp.

Not for the Faint-Hearted

It would be rude not to include a ‘rave’ in the list of activities to choose from, it is New Year after all. Our pick of the bunch is NYE at the Warehouse Project. One of Manchester’s most famous nightclubs, they’re sure to put on a stormer of a party. Tickets are £45 and you can get them here. With bass, house and techno is the music vibe and will be playing until 5am. Enough said.

Whatever it is you decide on you won’t be stuck for choice. We’re excited as can be with it being our first New Year’s Eve in Manchester so we’ll be ready to help you bring in 2017 in style!
