Drake & Morgan’s bars and restaurants, including The Folly, The Parlour and The Anthologist, are in full bloom this season, talking the Language of Flowers. With a stunning new menu launching April 1st, , features include irresistible botanical cocktails, a wider selection of rose and orange wines, a variety of beers and ciders and an extended range of vegan and vegetarian options.
Drake & Morgan’s favourite mixo master Keiran Brown has once again worked his green fingers to devise a garden full of goodies. Pick of the bunch includes the Tulip,combiningKetel One Botanical Peach & Orange Blossom, prosecco, white peach & jasmine tonic, the Sweet pea mojito (Ketel One Botanical Cucumber & Mint, orgeat syrup, lime, mint, sugar snap peas & soda), Enchanted rosewith Silent Pool gin, Belsazar Rosé, raspberry & rose tea syrup & lemon or Poppy – Don Julio Blanco tequila, poppy liqueur, guava, agave, lime & dehydrated dragonfruit , whilst the ever-popular Drake and Morgan zero proofs continue to hold a sizeable section of their own. Enjoy a refreshing Cote de lavendercombining lavender, lemon, apricot jam, orange & elderflower tonic or the classic Garden fizzwith basil, blackberries, raspberries, lemon & agave.
Nights out just got even more fun with our cocktail sharers, including the introduction of a Pornstar Martinifountain! Enjoy a Banana Boatfor four combining Koko Kanu, Appleton Reserve and Wray and Nephew rums with a blend of golden falernum banana, pineapple and lime or give yourself a Pep Talkfor two with El Jimador tequila, watermelon, lime, pomelo & peppercorn tonic.
To launch the new drinks on the menu, we have studied the ancient art of floriography and have devised a way to help you blossom with a free personalised cocktail. How are you feeling today? Play our game of emotions to reveal your personal potion. From wild to subdued, we will tend to your mood.
Finally, we can’t talk about flowers without mentioning bumblebees. Many of our new wines support Corney & Barrow’s latest initiative, “C&Bee”, which celebrates wine producers who practice sustainable farming, taking measures to protect the bee population, and altogether making better wine whilst giving bees a happy place to live. We’re giving away packets of wildflower seeds in all our Drake & Morgan bars, and we want you to plant them. Plant the seeds to help the bees!
