There’s a lot going on in March this year! We’ve put together a selection of what we’re most looking forward to eating, drinking and doing in March.
The trend of foraging is not showing any signs of slowing up, and who better to carry it on than alumni from River Cottage. Native arrived in Neals Yard, Covent Garden at the start of February, and we are captivated by it. With innovative re workings of classic dishes and exciting flavour combinations, there’s not a boring item on the menu. Highlights have got to be the pigeon kebab and smoked Pollock croquettes. Yes please.
Toast with a Roast on Mother’s Day
It’s always good to give something back, and the people who deserve that most have got to be all those mothers out there. Show your all-important mum how much she means to you on Sunday 6th March with a scrumptious Sunday roast and a glass of champagne. Say thanks at 7 of our bars & restaurants for £14.95pp and book a table here. We’re also offering a flower arranging master class with our in-house florist Ricky Paul exclusively at Drake & Morgan at King’s Cross. With only 10 spaces available – find out more and book here now.
For those who consider themselves beer connoisseurs, and frankly for anyone at all who likes a pint, head to CAMRA’s London Drinker Festival from the 2nd – 4th March. Sample over 150 real ales, beers, ciders and perries that will be on offer in the Camden Centre in Bloomsbury. Make sure to line your stomachs to help you taste as many local brews as possible.
The food here is great, but the drinks are what really make Hop stand out. The new ‘pub deluxe’ graced Spitalfields with its arrival at the end of January and it has been a rip-roaring success ever since. With copper tanks of fresh, unpasteurised Pilsner Urquell imported weekly from the Czech Republic hanging above the bar, you can’t get much more authentic. This is accompanied by a plethora of craft beers and a revolutionary bar system that serves boutique wines on tap. To take their offering that bit further, they also have a cocktail list dedicated to hop beer cocktails. Don’t mind if we do.
If anything showcases female empowerment it’s the amazing selection of events and exhibitions celebrating Women’s History Month. Guests can attend informal talks and discussions on everything from female art to the fight for human rights, as well as an assortment of exhibitions and performances. Throughout Women’s History Month (the whole of March), multiple events take place all over London so there will be something for everyone. Find out more here.

#HouseofHoli is back at the Cinnamon Kitchen in March! Do it the Irish Way
It might be mid Six Nations, where we see the Irish in a strictly competitive light, but we all love an excuse to party, and to the Irish certainly know how to do that. Head down to Trafalgar Square on 13th March for the free St Patrick’s Day Festival featuring comedy, film festivals, fashion shows and an artisan Irish food market. On the actual day (17th March) there are all sorts of festivities to be found all over London from paddy’s-day-themed dining clubs to Irish pubs getting down ‘n’ dirty.
