This year, we’ve collaborated with the turtle-saving Lost Years Rum to bring you the ultimate feel-good, tastes good & does good cocktail. Order up one of our Message In A Bottle cocktail & you’ll be supporting itt bitty baby sea turtles.! Yes for real!

Inspired by their son’s love of ocean & sea turtles, British couple Lee & Trudy Smith hit on the idea of ‘great rum doing good’ after visiting one of the famous rum distilleries in Jamaica & seeing nesting sea turtles on a nearby beach.

It took them over a year to source incredible rums from some of the region’s most revered distilleries and partnering with non-profit SEE Turtles. Lost Years Rum launched during in November 2020 & it’s now featured in a wonderful cocktail in all our bars & restaurants this Sping/Summer season.

Every year thousands of newly hatched sea turtles scurry across tropical beaches & disappear beneath the waves. They won’t be seen again for up to a decade. Where they go during these ‘lost years’ is one of nature’s great mysteries, but what we do know is that these ancient creatures are today in danger of extinction and, without our help, could soon be lost forever.

Every drop of Lost Years rum sold saves baby sea turtles thanks to their charity partner, SEE Turtles who help fund community-based conservation at key nesting sites across the Caribbean & Latin America.
