We are so excited to announce that Drake & Morgan have raised over £100k for our incredible brand charity Maggie’s since 2019 & we couldn’t have done it without your support! The money raised has helped Maggie’s provide free practical, emotional & social support to people with cancer & their family & friends via their centres which are located across the UK. From special dishes on our menus, bake sales, events, & charity runs, we’ve certainly gotten creative over the years to ensure we’re raising as much as we can for this amazing charity. We look forward to raising even more!

A bit of background

Who are Maggies?

Maggie’s first opened in Edinburgh in 1996 & now have a network all across the UK providing free support to people with cancer & their family & friends. Maggie’s have 30 centres in the UK with professional staff on hand to offer the support people need & are places to find practical advice about benefits & eating well; places where qualified experts provide emotional support; places where you can simply sit quietly with a cup of tea; places to meet other people.

Their goal is to give people with cancer the assistance to take back control when cancer has turned their whole life upside down.

Ways that you can help us raise money for Maggie's

When you next visit your favourite D&M, try out our Chalk Stream trout with samphire, peas, Jersey Roals, mint, radish & vinaigrette. For each one sold, 50p will go directly to Maggie’s. On top of this, when you pay your bill, the lovely digital charity box Pennies will ask you whether you wish to donate a small amount, so sending a contribution to Maggie’s has never been easier!

What else you can do?

Other ways to fundraise

There are plenty of other ways to raise money too, including joining their running, walking & cycling fundraisers or volunteering. Raising £300 could pay for a Cancer Support Specialist for a day so that people with cancer can talk with an expert & find the information and support that’s right for them & their family.
