Naan rolls at Rola Wala

The Street Feast fav Rola Wala is finally becoming permanent in Spitalfields and will be offering healthy Indian street food from Naan rolls to grain bowls – the best bit? They’re partnered with One Feeds Two so for every naan roll sold, a school meal is provided to a child living in poverty. That’s a yes from us.

 Reef beef & bubbles

You asked, and we provided – one of our most popular dishes has returned to The Fable! For July and August only you can gorge on steak, ½ lobster, chips & a glass of prosecco for £14.95 – if that’s not a winning dinner we don’t know what is. The catch? There isn’t one, we just ask that you book your table in advance.

Drink

Alcoholic strawberries & cream

We’re sold already! We’re doing strawberries and cream the best way – in a cocktail. And your cholesterol won’t suffer too much either as there isn’t actually any cream in the cocktail just crème de fraise which tastes just as good. You’ve only got until the 16th July to enjoy our Wimbledon special however so make the most of it – you’ll fine Strawberries & Crème for £8.50 at all our bars & restaurants until the end of Wimbledon.

Drink tequila on National Tequila Day

Monday 24th July is a big day in the drinks world because it’s celebrating a spirit that is rapidly becoming known for its qualities rather than the headaches you associate it with from those tequila slammers (which, by the way, is not the good tequila!). So come into any of our bars and taste some proper tequila – if you don’t fancy it straight up sip on a classic Margarita or try our ‘Pieces of Eight’ tequila & tonic cocktail at selected bars.

See

Some of your favourite movies under the stars

Let’s face it, we all love going to the cinema. But it seems like a crime going on summer evenings when the days are longer and the suns out more often. Well, the outdoor cinemas are still some of our favourite summer evening activities and Nomad has got to be the pick of the bunch. From classics such as Casablanca and Top Gun to sing-along favs such as Mamma Mia and Grease – the selection is seriously cracking! Get booking, but maybe check the weather forecast first for your chosen day.

Do

Celebrate Pride London

The joyous occasion and celebration of London’s LGBT community is underway with the Pride Parade and main events just around the corner on Saturday 8th July. From Pride’s Got Talent in Trafalgar Square to Pride in the Park at Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens there’s a whole host of fun. Want to see the Parade? It will start at Portland Place before working it’s way down through Regent Street, Pall Mall and Whitehall where it finishes. The parade starts a stone’s throw from The Refinery at Regent’s Place at approximately 1pm, so stop by for a bite to eat and a cocktail beforehand.

Culture up

There’s so much culture to make the most of in London – and a prime contributor that keeps changing so there’s always something new is the theatre. Our picks of the moment have got to be the inspiring new take on Much Ado About Nothing at The Globe – the Shakespearean comedy has been relocated to 1910 Mexico and injected with Latin music and starts on 14th July. xOur 2nd choice is much more sombre in theme but equally riveting – Olivia Coleman and Olivia Williams play siblings in Mosquitoes which starts on 18th July at The National Theatre. We simply cannot wait for either.
