October was jam-packed full of food & drink days, festivals – you name it, it was there. But November’s got a pretty awesome array of events lined up for you too – check out the best bits below.

Hip Chips

The one-trick-pony craze in the food world is showing no signs of stopping. From Avo Popup to the Cereal Killer Café, the latest specialist restaurant is about to open its doors. Strictly speaking Hipchips will serve two types of food: crisps and dip. From standard favourites to crazy flavours and even sweet versions for pudding. Based in Soho on Old Compton Street it opens any day now – follow them on twitter for the latest updates.

Reef, Beef & Bubbles for £14.95

Lobster, steak, chips AND a glass of Prosecco – you’ve got us hook, line and sinker just at the thought. Well, The Fable are offering it for November only for £14.95 on any day of the week. So if you’re struggling between fish or meat – struggle no more as our own version of surf ‘n’ turf will sort you right out. The offer must be prebooked so get in there quick and book your slot.

To a charitable cause

Movember is fabulous for many reasons – first and foremost it’s an amazing organisation committed to changing the face of men’s health. Its symbol of a moustache, and the natural competitive element that follows, provides both an entertaining and public way of supporting the cause.

Well our contribution to Movember, as well as encouraging all our male staff to grow moustaches, is an epic cocktail named El Bandito. Throughout November you can enjoy it in all our bars & restaurants, and the C&B bars & restaurants for £8.95 and £1 from every sale goes straight to the charity.

Whisky for Malt Month

C&B Bars are giving you the chance to learn a bit about your favourite whisky with their series of Malt Month Masterclasses featuring Chivas, Jameson, Balvenie and Glenfiddich. Masterclasses are £15 and being held on the 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd of November at various C&B sites, so click here to find out more about each and book your ticket.

There’s also a pretty awesome competition to tie in with Malt Month: buy a dram of Balvenie and you’ll be given a code which will enter you into the prize draw. The prize? A luxury weekend in the Hotel du Vin in Cheltenham with breakfast, dinner – AND a Morgan 3.7 V6 Roadster to drive while you’re there.

Our new openings for yourselves

For those of you that ever frequent Edinburgh and Manchester, our first sites in both cities open on 21st and 28th November respectively. In our hometown here in London, we’ll also be opening The Otherist, on Old Broad Street, on 28th November with The Pagination to follow shortly afterwards early in December. For the latest information on all our new sites and details on our opening offers, sign up to our newsletter.

All your favourite chefs at Taste of London

Everyone’s favourite foodie festival returns on 17th November for 3 days. Tobacco Dock will be transformed into a culinary winter wonderland and it is not going to be one to miss. The festive edition will feature dishes from London’s best restaurants, demonstrations and a gourmet producers market. Get the low-down and book your tickets here.

Check out Foodies Festival Christmas

On the same weekend as Taste of London, Foodies Festival Christmas offers a bit of competition. MasterChef winner Jane Devonshire and star of Great British Menu, Michael Bremner, will both be cooking signature dishes for all to see. Returning to the Old Truman Brewery from 18th – 20th November, the festival has got a lot to offer.

Wahaca’s Day of the Dead

It was such a knockout success last year, that if you missed out you’d be nuts not to head over this time around. Featuring live bands, speakers and performances, unbelievable street food and of course a lot of tequila, Wahaca puts on quite the show. It’s taking place on Thursday 3rd November from 8pm-2am at The Vaults. Early bird tickets are all sold out, so grab yours from the last batch now.
