Winter Warmer Cocktails

The birds have flown south, leaves have fallen off the trees and mittens are starting to emerge! We think it’s fair to say that the cold weather is finally upon us. Even though it’s turned a bit chilly, here at D&M we think that the weather is no excuse not to enjoy a drink or two outside. So being the helpful people we are, here are our recommendations for hot cocktails to enjoy outside.

First we have the Hot Toddy. It’s a Bacardi Oro based drink with lemon juice and sugar. Bacardi Oro is made up of 14 different rums aged between three to five years which are all blended together to make this superb drink. Prefect to cosy up under a blanket with!

Winter Julep- Maker’s mark, golden syrup, mint, house bitters. Maker’s Mark means this drink has fruity essences with caramel and vanilla undertones. Very sweet but also very satisfying.

Mulled Cider is a house favourite of ours. With the Suffolk-based Aspall cider, pear, cinnamon and nutmeg this drink goes hand in hand with a delicious apple pie! And what says winter more than a homemade apple pie.

Hot Buttered Rum- This combination of Chairman’s spiced rum, cinnamon, nutmeg and brown sugar means that this deliciously sweet drink is an explosion of spices; it just paints the perfect picture of winter!
